The 2010 celebration included a free whisky tasting by Piper’s Pub, music by fiddle player Oliver Browne and Friends, performances by world champion piper Alasdair Gillies and the Pittsburgh Scottish Country Dance Society, and a silent auction in support of The Balmoral Classic and Balmoral School of Piping & Drumming, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Robert Murdoch, National Chairman Emeritus for National Tartan Day, provided a brief history of Tartan Day.
